The new Album of Sophie Pacini will be released on the 9th of September 2016 by Warner Classics. It consists of works by Beethoven and Liszt, such as the Waldstein Sonata, the Reminiscences de Don Juan, the piano transcription of the Tannhäuser Overtüre by Richard Wagner and the Liebestraum No.3.
Still in 2011 she was named winner of the 2011 Deutschlandfunk Förderpreis. The award enabled her to record this album with works by Schumann and Liszt, such as the Carnaval op.9 and the sonata in b minor. It was released in 2012.
In 2011 she was awarded with the "Prix groupe Edmond de Rothschild" during the Sommets musicaux de Gstaad. Chairman of the Jury was Dmitri Bashkirov. The award was connected to a CD production with the Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland Pfalz with the piano concerto in a minor op.54 by Schumann and the piano concerto No.9 in E flat major KV 271 "Jeunehomme" by Mozart. The album was released in 2012.
